At Homecare we are specialists in all aspects of timber treatment and damp proofing.
Timber rot and damp are usually the result of one of the following factors:

Condensation - due to poor insulation and ventilation and poor control of water
vapour.

Rising Damp - due to water rising above the damp proof course level via a
capillary action.

Water Ingress - due to water entering the building from above the DPC level.
This could be due to a faulty roof, brickwork defects, faulty rainwater goods
or leaking plumbing.

Infestation (woodworm) - due to beetle attack (the grubs burrow into the wood).
Our experienced staff are trained to diagnose the root cause of the problem and treat it accordingly. We carry out replacement or treatment of affected timber and damp proof courses.
